Jason Rosa, LCSW, Founder

Jason Rosa, the founder of River and Rose, brings over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. A Rutgers University graduate, Jason has passionately served disenfranchised youth and families across Georgia, New Jersey, and Florida.

Having worked with individuals of all ages and couples, Jason's previous experience includes roles such as Assistant Director at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ and Director of the Juvenile Sex Offender Program for Union County, NJ.

Beyond his career, Jason holds a fundamental belief that every person has the right to feel good about themselves. At River and Rose, he infuses love and positive energy into the healing process, ensuring a compassionate and empowering therapeutic journey for all.

    Angelica, a Marine Corps Veteran, is all about making the therapy process easy and comfortable for her clients, and speaks both English and Spanish.

    With 7 years of experience, Nicole specializes in helping clients work through trauma and speaks both English and Arabic.

    Aloha! I am delighted to be at your service. As a seasoned licensed associate counselor with a diverse background in school counseling, mental health, and the arts, I specialize in employing various therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of my diverse unique clients.

    My expertise extends to utilizing chess and play therapies to establish rapport across different ages and backgrounds. I am committed to a pluralistic approach, where I integrate Person-Centered, CBT/DBT Informed therapy skills, Gottman Method & Imago Relationship Therapy and MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) to address issues in life transitions, relationships, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, personal struggles and academic challenges.

    Through unconditional positive regard and mentoring, I strive to enhance the self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence of my clients while addressing negative behaviors with compassion. With a foundation in literature, theater, fitness, yoga, and spirituality, I incorporate mindfulness techniques to facilitate mood improvement, personal growth empowerment, and holistic healing.

    My practice focuses on working with teens, adults, and couples. I offer sessions in both English and am fluent in Spanish.

    Maggie’s passion for helping people while previously working at a hospital as a certified medical assistant has led her to River and Rose. She schedules clients with the therapist that best fits their needs and communicates with insurance companies about eligibility, benefits, and submits claims.
